From Wednesday 11th April GET YOUR BAND ON will be playing some of the best indie bands in Leicestershire, plus some really great out of town bands.  Every Wednesday at the Sun Bar Leicester.

 

Starting at 8 p.m. and going on till late, we will have a line up of really good indie bands - each one carefully chosen to bring people a great night of live music.

 

At £3 on the door even you tight fisted sods can afford that.

 

Watch the web site or go to the www.artsinleicestershire.co.uk/ events listing for details of which bands are playing.  But you will see some fine bands at our shows, such as Proud to have met you, Messini Assault, The Utopians, The Eaves, Breek, ... and possibly even some even bigger names in the world of Leicester rock.

Having now got two pages on MySpace, Im now going to try this Live Space stuff and see how it goes.  Its a bit kind of "whats all this about then " right now.

So, I spend a lot of my time doing things with rock bands, such as, managing one, promoting 700 others.  I run Get Your Band On and have a page for rock bands on MySpace.

 

I am based in Leicester where I work as a full time web designer for Cafe Networks.

 

I love rock music - I like it LIVE - and loud - and my special passing is for metal though I enjoy all genres.

 

I manage a band called NOCTURNAL. They are a really nice bunch of lads who play awesomely good music.

 

In this blog I will write about rock bands, promoting live music and varous jottings about the music industry.
